The objective is clear: to promote ecological transition, encourage technological innovation, and strengthen investments in the sector.  <\/p>\n<h2>The Structure of the Fund and Available Resources<\/h2>\n<p>Conceived by the <strong>Energy Bill Decree (DL 17\/2022)<\/strong>, the Fund provides a total of <strong>8.7 billion euros<\/strong> until 2030. For the 2023-2024 biennium alone, <strong>750 million euros<\/strong> have been allocated, divided into two instruments: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Development contracts<\/strong>: absorb 70% of the resources<\/li>\n<li><strong>Innovation agreements<\/strong>: allocated the remaining 30%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The procedures for fund allocation were defined by the directorial decrees of October 10, 2022. Moreover, the high cost of electric vehicles and the inadequacy of charging infrastructures could, particularly in countries like Italy, end up representing significant barriers.     <\/p>\n<p>In this scenario, therefore, the transition to electric must necessarily be accompanied by strategies that also take into account <strong>hybrid solutions, biofuels, and hydrogen<\/strong>, in order to ensure a more balanced and flexible approach. On the other hand, a more balanced and flexible approach could allow for addressing, in a gradual and sustainable way, the numerous challenges related to the energy transition. For example, the use of diversified technological solutions, such as biofuels and hydrogen, represents a concrete possibility to support electric in reducing emissions. This would be particularly useful in specific sectors such as heavy transport or long distances, where electric cars are not yet competitive.   <\/p>\n<h2><strong>The future of automotive is green<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden first:pt-[3px]\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert light\">\n<p>At the same time, it is essential that investments are made in adequate infrastructure. In fact, both for electric charging and for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.europarl.europa.eu\/topics\/it\/article\/20221013STO43019\/come-far-aumentare-l-uso-di-carburanti-alternativi-per-le-auto\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>refueling of alternative fuels<\/strong><\/a>, such interventions would not only facilitate the adoption of green vehicles, but would also create new economic opportunities, attracting investments and generating jobs related to the ecological transition. Moreover, on the social front, it is essential that governments commit to making sustainable mobility more accessible to all citizens.
